How to install Dreamweaver Extensions using the Extension Manager.
divaLINK transforms plain text urls into active hyperlinks and plain text email addresses into live mailto: links. It does all this on-the-fly in the browser, so you don't have to, and takes just a few clicks to use.
Open divaLINK
With a page open in the Design or Code View window, either find the diva tab of the InsertBar, and click on the divaLINK icon:
or use the Insert/divaHTML/divaLINK menu item:

The Delete button
This button appears only when divaLINK is already on your page. It will remove all remnants of divaLINK.

Special interaction with divaPOP and divaPOPgold.
divaLINK has a special interaction with divaPOP and divaPOPgold which modify links to external websites (among others) so they will open in a popup window. Since those two latter scripts depend on the presence of href values (links), then divaLINK must operate on the page FIRST to CREATE the links for divaPOP/gold to see.
Upload the Files
Remember to upload to your server:
- Your page.
- The folder " /diva/divaLINK/" with its contents (which divaLINK added to your Site for you). Note that the folder needs to go into the site root, as shown here. These are static files, so only need to be uploaded once.
